I am still kinda new to the RZR in general, Definitely a fun toy.

Maybe its sinking in how Polaris operates and better get used to the image.

Definitely out of touch and little connection to their owners or dealers.

I think if they do ever show up at a trade show I might not even go in the booth or hospitality room for a free drink. There would be nothing to learn from them or really anything to talk about.

These 2012 announcements and the way Polaris goes about it is pretty strange.

A small intro video for the 570 model would have been a tiny bit classy on their part. Would have been nice on the website. Make you a little warm and fuzzy but no just a spec page.

I also think they could have released the info thru the dealer network or at least included them as respect to them and get you to a dealer. Not sure how at the moment but pretty sure the current approach is lame.
My dealer will have no idea about any of these "changes" this morning and not be able to answer basic questions. Probably also be wondering what he's supposed to do with the 570 and who he's supposed to sell it to and why.

Sorry to rant, I just want to enjoy my RZR differently.

Hu???

It's under $10k!! It's just like the 400 and 500 Sportsman. It's cheap... it will sell itself.

Wow, the 2012 line up is awesome!:rofl3: What a dissapointment :rm_thumbdown:

Can't have a new 900 kind of release every year :rollfinger: Besides is preserves the value in that '11 RG 4 you've got there. If a XP900 4 came out today, that machine you own would be worth a whole lot less. I'm happy with the changes myself :)

On to the 2013 speculation. You only have 5 months and three days to wait for the next big thing...

So if they are touting such hugely significant improvements like knobs, anti rattle bars, and less dust in the cabin, would it be fair to say that there has been no official fix to the bending axle/broken CV issues in the 12 vs 11 xp's?

no kidding. ouch! Unless we are being premature and should wait.

I checked You Tube. Googled around for 2012 Polaris. Nothing!
The dealer people are great guys probably but you would expect them to be excited about whatever the hell they saw and upload photos or cell phone clips.

Polaris didn't have a semi at the back door with goodies to sneak peak?

I don't want an orange fendered XP but would like to see one for real.

Don't want the entry RZR either but would be neat to look at too.

They couldn't let dealers demo the 570 around the parking lot?- It is Tennessee.

At least dealers could walk across the parking lot to Gibson Guitar/ Banjo store. Pick up and play hundreds of killer instruments.
You can look thru windows at woodworkers hand making them.
There are good ribs in that town too. It is Tennessee.

Hey Frank,
You are one of the Forum Gods.

Is there any way to link up and stream on Forum for neat stuff like this?
You know, bring a live feed of the event onto Forum.

We do it on our message centers around town.

Thanks in advance -

I have been waiting to buy a rzr4 and I do like the new white/orange madness edition however I can't believe they took the bighorns off the rzr4, especially since they are on the rzr-s and the 900 now! I also think its nice to have more of a base rzr4 but come on the new indy red is the same price as the black carbon fiber and the sunset red le's were last year. That pricing makes no sense to me at all. I also don't know why the have so many color choices on rangers and 50" razors and so few on a rzr4? I also noticed that the ranger HD now has engine braking, which is good lots of people have been wanting that , but why not on some other models?

OK this is my last post I swear......

Lugnut guy makes some good points. All of the questions about why, how come, and Polaris logic in general.

Polaris needs a makeover. I want to go into Polaris on contract, consult, spend time in each department, figure these people out, correct the logic, organize the hell out of them, high five and get out.
You'd see neat changes and a new enthusiasm.

and we'd have (2) new desert S.W. XP color editions by fall. One pastel and one rock look.

To all the people whining about nothing too new for their taste try being a Yamaha fan and the Rhino has virtually been unchanged since 04 when it first came out. Polaris is light years ahead of the game and they step it up more and more, motor sizes, colors, number of seats, etc. You really can't go wrong, say you have a younger son around 12 or so and you don' want him in a 800 the 570 would be perfect, granted I'm sure it says 16+ on age rating but we all been there. Hats off to Polaris, I had a Rhino, had a Teryx, would never buy a Big Red so here I am at Polaris. No complaints here.

By the way the polaris dealer show was in the last few day's. This was the first time dealers are shown what is new and what has changed. Normally they still didn't release info to the public till much later. So if your dealer has no clue about the 570 they probably didn't go to the show!

I have the $20k for a new XP 900 4 and compared to sand rail, I still think its a good deal. How many sand rails have 4wd and can rock crawl? So now, I try to keep from spending it on other toys while I wait for Polaris to "do the right thing".:ride:

If you are willing to spend that then go buy an xp for 15500 and have tmw or pjs convert it to a 4. They charge real close to 5k. You get what you want at a price you are ok with paying. The only problem is you don't get to whine anymore lol.
