New to the forum, hoping to obtain some help from the experts on here. Was heading down a trail, everything is going great and then the machine dies. No power. Tow it back home and start checking things.

It has a brand new fully charged battery, connections are tight and clean. Checked everything in the fuse block under the dash. All fuses are good and the relays bench tested good. The breaker under the dash is in good condition. The 3 fusible links are good, continuity before and after. Grounds look clean and tight. Continuity from the wh/rd starter solenoid wire to the A location on the ignition switch. Tested the ignition switch per the service manual and it passes. When I power directly from the battery to the B or C location on the ignition switch the dash comes alive. Power to D and the starter will crank. Aside from opening the whole wiring harness looking for something amiss, anyone have ideas or been through this with another machine?

Appreciate any help, this is maddening!

Turn the key and nothing happens. Tested the ignition switch per the manual and it passes so it should be good. I ran power from the battery directly to the plug on the back of the ignition switch and touched power to the B location which made the dash come on but I didn't leave it long enough to check codes. I should go back and do that though. Same thing in the C location. The D location makes the starter crank but no power to the dash.

I'll check for codes either today or tomorrow, in the meantime, any ideas from this info?

If I recall there is a problematic spot around the floorboard. I cant find the link but I recall seeing several threads about a bad factory splice that was corroded from water. IF all of the previous comments dont lead you to your problem try removing the center console and inspecting the main harness in the floor board for any signs of damage, pinched wires, or corrosion. If you have have a continuity tester you can narrow it down pretty quickly with help from a friend by probing from one end to the other.

Im sure you've already checked every fuse but dont overlook the simple things!

Have you located the fuse holder under the seat area? It has two fuses in it and is kind of a PITA to see unless you really look? For the life of me I want to say its on the driver side but dont quote me on that, I know you can see it if you stick your head in from the rear wheel well and look towards the battery area.
