Maybe it's just my computer speakers not conveying the sound properly, but it sounds like a RZR800 motor. Slight rattle noise. How many hours on the motor after rebuild? Using High Zinc break in oil?

The motor sounds "normal" for an 800. The rocker arms shouldn't have any slop in them, it's cam driven lifters to push rods, there's no adjustment. I was told these cams can "go flat" and the lifters should have been primed from the factory. So not really much you can do but replace parts. Regardless, the noise you are hearing is normal 800 operation. They rattle. They don't run smooth like a fancy new motor. They are the cromagnon of the side x side world motor.

Hard to hear the actual motor, but here's our freshly rebuilt Rev6 motor... the Big Gun Exhaust makes it harder to hear the motor, but it's got that noise you're hearing.

Right after we put the motor in:

Did you use new cam when rebuilding? The motors are loud and rattle a lot. Sounds like a RZR800. Check our YouTube or insta to hear ours. Keep checking that oil level too!
