Re: Dusty trails

I think Gillett is the farthest south you can pick up the trail, not sure where the parking is. I have made it to the subway there, hope this helps.

Great thanks for the reply. Where's my next known spot where I can unload and leave my truck?

The Dusty Trails system starts about 50 miles due North of Appleton, by Mountain & Lakewood area off Hwy 32N. It is a very ATV/UTV friendly area. The Southern most parking is in Gillette as Beanhead said. It's an old railroad bed that keeps going North. There is other parking at some bars further North on Hwy 32 towards Mountain.
You should find a map of the area because there are lots of trails that you have to run ATV Routes (roads) to get to. You will miss the fun ones without a map.
You want to find the "pipeline" area for some muddy wet stuff and other long trails that start in that area, off the railroad bed, just NE of Breed. It's near the Cross roads of Hwy 32 & Hwy 64. The trails go North in the Nicolet National Forest.

No Sorry. Wish I could. I'm really ready to get out.

I'm working up by Minocqua remodeling our house during the week. This weekend I have to haul my enclosed trailer back home to Appleton for materials. Unfortunately my RZR is up here.

We'll have to meet up & ride another time. Have fun.

Re: Dusty trails

Yes the trails are 64 wide, I have heard there is some 50 inch trails but I have not run across them. Maybe things will work out some time to get together for a ride, seems like work gets in the way more often than not.
