Foam cannon is way to go!

So you guys are loading your ZEP Truck and Trailer Wash into these foamers, spraying your machine with it, letting it soak, and then just rinsing it off?

Just trying to be clear on how you are all doing it ...
That's what I do with my pressure washer using Zep, although, if really muddy I knock the big stuff off with the pressure washer before soaping it down.

My local NAPA could only get it in a 5 gal or a box of 4 single gal bottles. It was a little much for me. But I did find single gallon bottles here: ZEP PROFESSIONAL R08024 Truck And Trailer Wash, 1 Gallon, Bottle - Walmart.com
Well, 5 gallons at that price equals $80.05, plus tax, vs $37, delivered, via www.jet.com. (Shrug)
Yep you are right. I was thinking along the lines of not having 5 gal of something I dont know if I will use. I was trying to find a source of supply for a 1 gal jug just to try out the product. If i like it then I will definately buy from jet.com

This stuff is every bit as good as everyone said it would be!! I ordered 2 gallons since I didn't want to jump into a 5 gallon supply without trying it first. Now I wish I would have gotten the 5 gallon!! It did an amazing job on the fender wells, springs, frame, bumpers, everything that I usually have to scrub with a brush underneath. These areas are clean enough for me with no scrubbing, and I am picky! I used just the chemical guys foam blaster foaming sprayer you attach to the garden hose with the soap and water mixture as shown on the sprayer bottle. I have low water pressure compared to most, but still it did an outstanding job. I did use 2 applications of this underneath. I used it on the rest of the machine then also and it worked well. It did not remove the muddy water spots that had dried on from the weekend on the plastics, those I had to use light washing on. I was very skeptical, and was just looking for anything to complain about, no complaints, great stuff! I used maybe 1/4-1/3 of a gallon on one long wash with the gun set at max foam.

For any Canadian that wants to buy ZEP TNT I was able to contact ZEP direct and purchase through them. Not cheap because you can only get it in 20 L (5 gallon) amounts. $89CDN+ shipping and taxes but considering Simple Green is $20 a gallon at Canadian Tire it's not that bad. Feel free to PM me for details.

I think I would try Dawn or dishwasher soap before I paid that. There must a similar product in Canada.

I wouldn't be surprised if a combo of dawn and some degreaser would do just about as good as these "formulated" washes.

I have been using Truck and trailer wash for a couple of years now and the stuff is amazing, it works awesome on getting the bug juice off the front of the toy hauler too.

Yes soap is a pretty simple formula to tweak

What the hell? I know this is a one year old thread but the price has almost doubled at Jet.com!

$74.63/ 5 gal

NOPE!
I bought from Jet, and had it the next day!

Personally, I think this product was a waste of money. It works no better than dish soap for me. I've followed the directions, doubled it, quadrupled it, and tried it full strength! Definitely not impressed.

I purchased a gallon jug of it and have used it twice. As others have said I really don't see it helps remove the dirt anymore than other car wash products. I will not buy it again. I'll try something else next time.

I just bought a 5 gallon just a couple of weeks ago. It was only $38 after the 15% discount. I think you may have clicked the wrong thing. Here is what I got...

https://jet.com/product/Zep-Profess...Trailer-Wash/e6eabdff817d46038692569a721a9f57

I didn't get the results others here had reported either on the outer finished plastics, but the undercarriage is perfect with no need for more washing. Plus 5 gallons of concentrated cleaner for $38 is an amazing deal so I'm well satisfied.

Here is a screenshot of my invoice.

I have been using the zep and I have to agree that its best used for the deep cleaning and seems to clean the tires and floor mat"s the best.
Maybe you can make a video of how to use it, with even just slightly fair results. The only thing I've found it good for so far, is just taking up space in my garage.

I needed a bucket the other day, and seriously thought about pouring out the 4.5 gallons I have left, rather than pay $4 for a 5 gallon bucket at Home Depot.

At least I can still make my wife laugh, whenever I suggest we give it another try. Who knows, maybe it'll work better as a coolant additive, or tree fertilizer? ;)
