Can you explain the difference between the XTA and XT axles?

Are they made with different grades of steel.

Do they have different heat treating standards?

Are the axles and/or CVs beefier or not?

I'm trying to understand the value in the more expensive XTA axles.

Thank you

Hey Rich,

Thanks for your question!

Our XTA series offers our highest quality axle, and is built for more extreme use than the XT series. They are both the same size. However, the main difference is that we use a stronger 4340 Chrome-Moly steel in our XTA series to withstand tougher levels of torque. Note that all of our axles offer precision CNC machined surfaces and induction heat-treated bearings.
