XPT Clutch noise

So I've read all the threads about XPT clutch problems, but I'm trying to figure out why it's so noisy.

I have the 3P shims, but when the machine is at idle, it just sounds like a lot of rattling metal in the back.

I still have to check the primary bolts, but I don't have excessive wear, and it's working. Also, no marks or issues on the clutch indicating a bolt has been bouncing around. I figured since Polaris isn't going to fix anything on these - better start looking at other solutions.

Ideas?

Polaris does have a update for the clutch.

It's only going to get worse. Work with your dealer. Symptoms are clutch sticking and killing the engine when you stop. The grab I believe is the clutch sticking and then grabbing at high RPM especially noticeable in reverse. There is a service Advisory ZSA-16-02 to add wear shims and increase airflow inlet area.

I get pretty loud rattle and clanking at idle too. Seems to have increased in sounds after my shims as well.
Also get some clunking when taking off. Everybody tells me it is normal and i have about 150 miles on it with out any issues. :ride:
