Need to get an enclosed trailer and I'm wondering if anyone knows what the min interior height and door clearance (height) is? Stock tires and stock cage...I'm really looking to hear from someone that is using an enclosed....if you don't know the height even just the make/model you have would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

You maybe asking the wrong questions. Do you want to climb over the machine to get in and out of the seat each time to load/unload? If you do use a standard width covered trailer. If not go for the wide body 108" trailer. You will have room to walk by it to get in and out. Makes life much more enjoyable, easier access for tie down and access.

I have a Haulmark enclosed trailer that is 12' long, 7' high, 7' wide, V nose, single axle with brakes. My Jagged X fits perfect. The doors on the RZR make it a little tight getting out of the car but it works fine. Haulmark does make an 8' wide unit but they are all double axles. I wanted to be able to move the trailer around the drive way easily and two axles are a little over kill for a 1200 to 1500lb car. Watch out for 6' high trailers. Remember a 6' high enclosed only has a rear door opening of 5' 6" or so. You might sneek a RZR in but it will be close. I like being able to walk out the tail gate ramp with out hitting my head. I live in So Cal and have towed it to Utah a couple time and Colorado. Tows great.

We have a Wells Cargo FW292V 4-place enclosed sled trailer that I use to tow our RZR. I put (2) 60lbs lead bricks and me (250lbs) in the bed while my wife drives it up into the trailer... clears the 68" tall door by 1/2". Once inside we have 2" to spare with an empty RZR (trailer is 6'6" inside). We have the RZR 4XP 900LE with aluminum roof, sag set two turns tighter on shocks, shock compression set as soft as it will go, and tire PSI at 12.

Measure the height of your car. Maybe RZR 4s vary in height. Mine is just an inch over 6'. That is with stock 12" wheels and 26" Bighorns and no lift. My car wouldn't fit in a 68" high door opening and I would also bang my head each time I walk out the door. AND If some day I put 30" tires on I won't have to let air out of the tires to get it in the trailer!!! I would not consider a trailer with less the 72"-73" high rear door opening.

So back on topic. If you want the MINIMUM size enclosed trailer for you 900 RZR 4 A 12' long trailer is Minimum. And naturally a 24' Trailer will hold 2 RZR 900-4. But a trailer that holds 2 RZR wasn't the topic, was it???

A 900 is 62" wide. A 6' (72") wide trailer only has a door width of about 66". Only leaves 2" a side. You will have to take several shots to hit the opening correctly. A 7' wide trailer has a 6'6" rear door. Then there are the cables that help with the weight of the door. These are set in a few inches on each side of the door. I end up rubbing these cables with my Jagged X tires every time I load it. Again MINIMUM width for a trailer, I would not consider anything under 7'
Take measurements of you bike and then head to a trailer sales lot. It will become clear what your MINIMUM trailer size can be. good luck

ps a 7' high and 7' wide X 12' long is not a special order for Haulmark trailers. I looked a several used ones before I found the right deal.

I bought a Look Premier (8.5' x 24)and had them add 12" to the height from factory. Lots of extras and room.

2013 900 XP 4

I have a Haulmark 16X7 with a 73" door. I have pro armor doors with an aluminum roof. With 12 lbs of air in the rear tires, the Razor will just barely fit. With a plastic Polaris roof it will not fit as it is 2" higher in the rear. I installed fold up beds on the insides of the trailer so I have to winch it in and out as there is no room to get in or out of the Razor.
If I had to do it all over I would get a 16 X 8 with a 7' door.
Hope this helps

Another issue is having enough length to tie it down properly. I have a 14 foot garage on my toy hauler and I want to be able to tie down to points forward and rearward of the RZR. I didn't think 12' would give me enough room. Also, the beavertail on my TH tends to make it haul with the rear wheels lower, tilted back a bit which affects length. I think that 12' is really cutting it too close.

My trailer is 6'6" withe a beaver tail on the rear. My stock xp4 would not fit. You need atleast a 7' tall trailer to fit a stock machine. I built a new cage that's 5" lower then stock in the rear and it goes right in. If I did not have a beaver tail in the back I still wouldn't clear the door even with the lower cage.

I have the 2013 rzr4 xp with the stock cage. I have a 20 foot Haulmark Enclosed which is also a car hauler. So with that is has the 10K axles and a beavertail and is wide enough for the rzr to fit between the wheel wells. Basicaly I can walk all the way around my rzr once inside. Also I chose the 7 foot tall interior for height plus the stock rzr cage goes right in. Not to mention the extra room for all the junk we can stuff in the trailer. I chose Haulmark do to their construction...l
