This is a weld it yourself kit that uses all six factory
mounting locations. All tubing comes to you pre-
coped and all major tube junctions are keyed so
you cannot get it wrong.

The first thing we’ll mention here is safety.
We only produce our cage in a 1.75” OD x .120”
wall thickness. Some of you will immediately
say this is too heavy, but it is a well spent 12 lbs.
Other companies make their cages from as light
as .065” wall and we would never
accept a cage that weak.

We don’t cut corners in any area, especially safety.
This is meant to save your life.

Some people think a cage's strength should be based on
the weight of the vehicle, we think a cage's strength
should be based on the potential speed and momentum
the vehicle may allow. Impact force is the key here.
If you are only going 30 mph you may not need the
cage that you would going 80 mph.

all our other XP1000(T) stuff!

Does the price include shipping? How about a warranty?

Bob H
Hi Bob-

Price unfortunately does not include shipping, as that has to be calculated on a case-by-case basis. The kit ships on a small pallet, which is often cheapest (and usually quite cheap) if delivered to a commercial or business address as these are easier for trucks to deliver to. We use this method often for deliveries of whole sticks of DOM tube and Axle housings, certainly something we'll be happy to discuss more in detail with you.

Warranty would assure that all the pieces were sent, and properly cut/bent to fit together with adequate clearance for welding. We of course cannot warranty the end user's welding work, but by the point in assembly of tacking together, any issues with what was sent would become apparent. We have a long standing reputation for not only excellent customer service, but by always doing right by our customers. If we make a mistake, we own up to it and asses what the situation calls for.

A lot of the design of this cage has been focused on the ease and consistency with which the design can be finished without mistake. A thorough set of instructions comes with of course, parts are well packaged and labeled to make the process simple, and intuitive to anyone with decent welding & fabricating skills/experience, though there is no shame in seeking a the help of a professional if you have any doubts in your own abilities.

Do you guys offer a diy roll cage for the 4 seater? You guys are in the Sacramento area right? I am between Red Bluff and Redding. Maybe we'll see you guys on the rubicon sometime.

We don’t have one for the four-seater yet, but it’s definitely something we are looking at for the future.

And you are correct, we’re in loomis just off of I80 north of Sacramento, stop by sometime, we’re always open on Saturday’s to help the locals who can’t make it during the work week.

Sounds good. I have a 2018 4 seater turbo. If you need one for a test vehicle to design one we could probably work something out. Have a great day. Thanks for the response.

Nice cage. Does the price include the roof?
The roofs will be coming out as a separate piece in the near future, we wanted it to be available independently as (at least in racing) they are somewhat often replaced. I'll let everyone know as soon as we have them ready.
