No need to grease the filter. The bracket on the end will keep the filter secure.

I may have missed it in one of the threads but do these filters filter as well as the stock if not better. Ran into this problem with a name brand filter on our race trucks. They said they breathe better AND filter better, but you can't have both. These will not void the warranties ? Thanks

Our understanding is that is seems anything you do to the RZR has the potential to void the warranty. Filtration is better than stock. R2C does not make any claims regarding breathing better. Our customers love them. Feel free to give us a call if you have any additional questions or to order.

Thank you for your interest. PM sent. No need to make any adustments to the air box or flange. Only need to drill one hole to mount bracket in the air box. Feel free to give us a call if you have any additional questions

We feel that the bracket gives the filter a more secure installation. We appologize for the oversight. Please contact us and we will be happy to forward the bracket to you.
