Is anyone running 15" diameter wheels on their woods racing machine? I have a 2018 Rzr Turbo S with 32" ITP Coyotes on stock 15" diameter wheels. The 32s are to tall for woods racing. I would like to drop back to a tire that is about 28" or 29" tall. I am not having much luck finding 28" or 29" all terrain style tires for a 15" wheels. Bighorns are only available in 26" for a 15" wheel. I think 26" tires will be to short.

Does anyone have any feedback on the MRT Rally Snake tires? They are 27x9.5x15

If you want to run that small of diameter tire you would be best to use a 14 inch rim. On a 15 inch rim the 30 inch tire choices are best. Bottom line is you still need sidewall height in the woods or it will beat the crap out of you

I have a Turbo S which comes with 15" wheels stock to clear the brakes in the front and the mud scrappers in the rear.
Yes I am aware that some have removed things or used spacers and managed to bolt a 14" on a XPT/S but I am not that guy.

Other choices are

28x10x15 CST Behemoth - 32 lbs
28x10x15 Kanati Mongrel - 31 lbs
28x10x15 CST Lobo - 30.9 lbs

29x10x15 ITP Ultra Cross R Spec - 36.07 lbs
29x9.5x15 Maxxis Liberty - 31.5 lbs

For XC racing, the smaller and lighter the tires, the better. Of course, the tires also need to be durable/puncture resistant too. So you have to balance those 2 goals. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

Thanks @Max H & @E.T.X.Rzr . Looks like I got caught reading instead of testing. I will mount a set myself and see what I think. Justin can you check his offset for me?

How tight are the woods you’re going to be racing in? Seems to me a Turbo S would make a pretty terrible woods racer. In the woods trails I run, a 72” machine would not physically fit in many places, and would be a serious detriment in the areas is actually does fit. Guess I’m just curious. My buddy has a S1K and while I walk away from him in the more open, rough terrain, I cannot keep up with him in the tight/twisty woods.

I did not buy the XPT/S for woods racing and would not recommend it to anyone that was focusing on woods racing due to it's width. I am able to fit through the course thus far. Courses have gotten wider due to people running wide offset wheels and long travel suspension. Very tight in places though.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think the tread pattern is a little to aggressive for sliding around corners though.

If what I found on the net is correct, those are a 4+3 offset. He must be around 76" wide with those wheels. As discussed above I am already very wide at 72" for woods racing. If that wheel were a 6+1 offset would it still work? Would pushing two more inches of wheel in over the brakes and scrappers cause it to hit?
