I don't know about your riding area or the windshield but if you ride in weather warmer than 80° you need to be able fold the windshield down.

 

Build your own. Cost around $200 for complete windshield with vent flaps. You can customize to any size you want. If you have basic welding experience it’s a great project to do. If you want to know more let me know, just finished another one.

 

i have a glass non folding one now and it gets pretty hot , if i were to do it over i would get the super atv tip out version , works 3 ways , fully closed , open a few inches to vent , full open more vent

 

If you ride in any mud, get a glass windshield.

The Pro tires fling mud, and the polycarbonate windshields get scratched up quickly from frequent cleaning.

 

I live in the southwest and prefer a half windshield.

 

I got the Polaris half windshield and it created a vortex that sucked air back into the back seat - there was so much dust and dirt inside the car after one day ride at Ocotillo Wells - I took it off - cleaned up inside and went back out - not nearly the mess once it was back off. It seems if you get any windshield a "rear" winddhield behind the seats is needed as well to keep the air balanced.

If anyone want to buy my half windshield it has one ride on it - $150 located in S. Cal. - will not ship - but can arrange pick up or delivery in OC or San Diego.

 

Super ATV Flipout is the best option until somebody makes a good flipout glass. If muddy just bring a spray bottle and squeegee to carefully clean it during the ride.

I just ordered the dual vent version. I looked at the polaris one but is appears to be on terminal backorder.

Just installed single center vent from moto armor. Like having more glass for visibility. Ride alot of desert and mountains and single vent gives me more visibility on sharp dropoffs. Spoke with moto before I ordered and they claimed single vent was way more popular for that reason. My thought was dual vents also probably direct more dust onto the driver and passenger than single middle vent

 

Ordered the same for the same reasons 2 days ago. Seems like a little better viewable area.

Check out https://sxswindshields.com it doesn't look like he has them on his site but I have one on my pro xp. it is a double vent full glass windshield.

Sorry about the tape. I am measuring for the two quarter windshields there.

I purchased the windshield you mentioned it is nice. The downsides were it took 30 days to receive the order. Also sitting in the drivers seat you lose about four inches of vision across your hood. Reminds me of sitting in a x3. I can see that sucking in the dunes.
