Not sure where you are, but tuffriverstuff.com will make you anything sewn you could possibly want. They have been making custom river gear for at least 30 years, and their stuff is top notch.. They USED to make entire insulated enclosures for the Pinzgauer military vehicles when they were a thing..
I assume you understand fractions. Risk is accidents per number of participants. So 2 a week out of several hundred thousand UTV users in Southern California is epidemic rate for a catastrophic absolutely preventable injury.
I appreciate everyone’s input. It’s beginning to look like I’ll have another project before the so-cal desert season starts. I think window nets look cool, and I appreciate the added safety. I tend to prioritize safety over convenience anyway. It’s not my limbs I’m afraid of losing. I’m pretty good at clutching the harnesses when things go sideways. It’s more for the parents, girlfriend, and whoever else finds themselves sitting passenger.
Maybe I should have elaborated a bit more. Having raced for many years I understand the need for safety. However, for most casual riders they will quickly become a PITA. Having to unhook/rehook them to every time you stop becomes cumbersome. The "cool" factor wears off fast and most end up not using them.
Is the ‘25 different than previous years? I had them on my ‘22 when I bought it a year ago, took them off a got rid of them after the first ride.lol, pita. can’t remember the brand..
