Bought a 2019 RZR 900 trail. When I start out it slow it jerks and sounds like the clutches slapping.

Maybe. But OP has 8 posts too, so it may be him.

OP, if you are new to this, please be advised if you're trying to baby feather the thing it will be a bit grabby feeling to the newer driver. The idea is to not spend any time at sorta, but not really engaged. Please try applying power a little more quickly and you may find out it's just your technique. Plenty of new guys have posted this only to find out they expected it to work like a car. It's not and won't. It be smooth it needs a clear and diecisive transition from stopped to moving.

Of course if you do it wrong enough time you will indeed glaza teh belt, and then you get to replace it AND correct your technique.

Also had this same problem. Loading and unloading in my enclosed trailer last winter---very tight maneuvering. Then it was all the time doing real slow maneuvering in low range. Changed the belt and now its smooth again. I dont use low range as much any more either. Dealer supplied and installed the new belt free of charge--I was impressed as was my wife. So THANK YOU M&M Performance Kelowna BC
