Bought a 2012 rzr 800s needing a rebuild less than a year ago. Tore it down and the crank bearings were gone. Bought a full hotrods crank kit, gaskets, water/oil pump rebuild, cylinder etc. Also bought new new lifters but had the original cam in it (I know you are suppose to replace both. ) Followed the manual and cleaned everything up then torqued everything to spec. 45 miles later it started knocking. Was halfway hopeful that I had some collapsed lifters as there was a gap between two of the rockers and rods when I opened it hack up. But the new lifters and cam were both extremely worn and the crank bearing at the rod is gone again. What could cause this? I know that's an open ended question but hesitant to do it again until I can figure out what happened. Tha
