I wear a helmet all the time unless im stuck in the mud, then the helmet comes off because it causes problems when your trying to rig something up to get out of a mud hole

I do not unless I have to. I also do not drive like a idiot. I also don't try to break my rig everytime I ride. I also don't ride in congested areas.

In Alberta it is the law. We are snowbirding in Az and my wife and I wear ours and so does anyone who rides with me. I see many young people on 4 wheelers with no helmets as well as their parents. On side by sides a helmet is very rare. We use Wolfsnouts as well to protect our lungs.

I wear half helmet, sometimes a full face. Never ride without something.

my wife and I always wear ours.

I didnt before I saw what happened to a buddy during a nasty crash in St. Anthony. Ever since then, ANYONE in my RZR wears one. I would wrather put up with the "uncomfortable" feeling then have no feeling at all. If you get a helmet that fits really well, they are not uncomfortable in my opinion. To each their own.
Thanks
Thom
it's comfortable. Till the intolerable itching starts.

I prefer wearing it, I feel safer, I stay warmer. But, the itching is intolerable.
So much so, I would rather sit at camp than ride in the RZR.

No question. I always wear mine. Anyone getting in mine must wear one. Do what you want in your own, but don't be that idiot who doesn't and then tries to sue the Mfg. or the riding spot. That's most of the reason places make you wear them.

Is there any way to bang one's head on the cage? I don't have my RZR yet, but that would be my #1 concern.

I wear my helmet every time I ride I’m pretty sure I would be dead if I didn’t. I flipped my quad at about 60 a few years back and the helmet saved my life hit my head on the ground so hard it knocked me out with a helmet on couldn’t imagine if I wasn’t wearing it.

I don't wear a helmet, I know my limits and my equipment enough to know its limits also.

I flipped my RZR last July at 45mph and rolled end over end five times and both the GF and I walked away with just some bruises and very soar muscles, don't even want to think what would have happened if we were not wearing helmets and 5 point harnesses.

I was on the fence with this question also until about three weeks ago.
As a 40 year dirt bike veteran, I have never ridden without full gear.
But when we got the RZR,many rides have people that don't wear helmets so we tried it too.
Kinda felt good but always felt "risky" as a long time helmet wearer.

So we did a snow ride, thought we would be riding slow, and rolled our RZR over on it's side on a shelf road after trying to bust through a big snow drift.

We weren't even moving forward when we went over.
The side incline made it a long way down and we landed on a pile of rocks. The rocks mashed our brand new door and my wife's head hit the pile of rocks hard enough to give her a mild concussion.
I will be replacing her helmet.
If she hadn't had the helmet on,who knows how bad she would have been hurt or maybe even killed?

So now we know we'll never ride without helmets again.
So yeah,we have a cage but sometimes the rocks get closer than they should be!

Always wear mine you just never know whats around the tree where we ride half the time i dont think we are on a trail we play follow the leader alot tree limbs have come in my rzr
