Hey guys who is running which type of Sprague carrier for the front Diff?

I am still running stock until mine goes. I'm sure the power of the weber wont make it last too long. Not sure which one to go with. The holz setup looks good.

it's not just the rollers and clips...the "red one" is also made from the proper aluminum that doesnt gall up like the others....holz does not make the red one, they sell it.:)

and as always...you get what you pay for!!! quality costs money..not to mention that usually the clips and rollers are ruined when you explode the plastic cage..

i dont think the material is an issue when you're going from a PLASTIC one. I bought one from Super ATV. The Holz one might be stronger, but i dont feel that its needed. Why would you put something that can handle 5000 ft-lbs of torque in there when it will never experience more than 500 ft -lbs? (not real numbers). Its just too expensive for me......like most aftermarket products.

The overwhelming majority of voters have what I have, the Holz Complete Billet Cage Assembly... I also have and recommend the Holz Billet Flange...:):):)
I agree, Holz is the way to go. I bought another brand which didn't come ready to install. It was a PAIN taking the old bearings and springs out and trying to put the thing back together. You almost need help doing the job using the other brand.

And like you, I also installed their pinion bearing support while I had the diff out.

I just blew up my superatv aluminum cage in my diff yesterday (or at least that's what it sounds like)...only been in there for a month...Dropped the fluid this afternoon and had about a teaspoon of metal on the drain plug (magnetic metal, so not part of the cage - chunks of gears? Bearings? Armature plate? IDK) I had the thing apart a month ago to install the cage so I know the bearings and gears were good then...

I was trashing plastic cages on the first ride every time I put one in so I was really excited about my aluminum cage but now I'm worried what else I might have destroyed...

I'll take some pics tomorrow!

GREAT!! Just got off the phone with Chris at DFR, He hooked me up with the Front Diff Sprague (cage) for only $139.....& to top it off he hooked me up with a new "adapter" the strait one (not the one that was made to fit the stock RAZR snorkel) for only $50...

These guys are great!! I was worried about that adapter and it causing a reduction in airflow (about 25%) and emailed them..Got an immediate responce that it was in fact made so that people could use their stock snorkels and that they did have a few of the strait adapters left....

THANKS CHRIS! THANKS DFR!!

BTW I googled roxatv..that was the Holtz Sprague?? I was asking for the DFR...The holtz is pretty in all and takes 2 minutes to install, but really, I can handle this..its a 10 min job..& the earlier comment about using up busted parts...My stocker is just fine, My parts are fine.. As for the arguement about 6061-t6 VS 7075... I havnt broke my plastic one yet... 6061 IS way above the amount of force thats going to be placed on the cage..yes 7075 is nice, but I just got one for 139 bucks, and if it breaks (which I seriously doubt) does anyone really think that any of our vendors are going to say "aww sucks to be you" No I believe they will replace it and want to inspect it to see what can be fixed to prevent it from happening again...

...as a vendor that sells the toughest, most complete sprague on the market, I can sleep well at night knowing that our customers may never have to call us for replacement or to complain about broken parts. It's bound to happen eventually, and we work hard to stand behind the products we sell, but it's few and far between.
Some say 7075 is too much, I say it's good insurance :)
