what octane are u guys running in ur 800's? do u run 87, 89, 91, or 93?

also u guys use any snake oils? what fuel additives do u run? can we run additives like lucas to the 800 just like we would with a car? is there a specific one that they make for motors like ours?

i use the lucas fuel additive to in the toy hauler fuel and the stable near the end of the trip. buying it by the gallon is the cheapest way. i did by one of the small shot bottles to use as a refill and a measurement. 5oz to 20 to 25 gal of fuel.:)
it's great stuff.:ride:

Sparks motor with 11 to 1 running 91 plus torco additive just for insurances They said Im good with just 91 but coming from a few turbos better octane never hurt.

Right now I am running the lowest octane in the ATV, and 91 in the RZR.
If I plan to store gas a couple months all the containers get 91.

We don't run additives but we do store gas and it may be used tomororw or next month thus we treat it with Sea-Foam.

I've used Sea Foam in my jeeps in the past as well as toyotas and when utilized through the intake the difference can be noticed or not depending on the vehicle, age and mileage.

I've had nothing but great luck with Sea Foam as a fuel stabilizer, and as a cleaner used through the intake.

I just picked up some Red Line fuel system cleaner to try out on my older vehicles.

We don't treat our fuel for the engine but to store it longer, and in return we get a cleaner better running engine :)

I've always filled the fuel station in the toyhauler with 91 and added PRI-G to the tank because the fuel can sit for a spell between trips.

PRI Advanced Fuel Treatments

I use it in all our toys and vehicles, boats , etc.

Now that I installed the turbo on the RZR 4 I'll be filling a few cans with 100 to mix with the 91 for the RZR.

93+Torco = 104 Octane. Torco is some great stuff!!!!

run 87, my friend used to run 93 in his honda atv and kept overheating halfway through our trips...he tried some crap you put in your antifreeze called ice and it didnt help...I told him to run 87 because the lower octane helps keep the engine cooler...long story short he changed to 87 and never had an overheat issue again...
These two views are completely opposite. I guess I'll have to do some outside research on this. Just interested to know.

Highest I can get is 91 in Alaska(that I've seen). I don't need race fuel.... So with the excess of most people running 87 for the first ¼ to ½ Gallon already in the fuel lines at the pump I'm a bit worried my 5 Gallon cans will fail to REALLY be at 91 octane.. That & any storage will lower that number as well...

I'll be headed down to the auto shops for an octane booster?? Whatever brand IDK? It's recommended to run 91-93, I'll shoot for 93.... Wish I had better options, Plenty of aircraft fuel everywhere:D j/k

Sea Foam sounds good, Knew about that. I just use the standard fuel Stabilizer they sell everywhere for storage... As for increasing octane? Suggestions? 90-90.5 isn't what I consider "cutting it"....
