I know it might be a stupid question, but I was wondering what exhaust system you can run with the mcx or any other turbo kit. I assume it bolts up to the flange off of the exhaust housing of the turbo so any exhaust should work right?

LTE Duals? I am in love with that exhaust system

The MCX turbo kit comes with exhaust, both the header and muffler. I haven't seen a turbo with duals but I suppose it could be adapted to fit.

LOL :rofl3::rofl3::shhh: I wasn't paying attention :D

It's just that I love the sound of the LTE Duals..You have no clue I am a fiend for that v-twin sound!!! I guess I could swap to a Superhawk engine or tlr engine :D I like the no shifting/no clutch thing though, so would my wife.

I'm sure I could get the LTE exhaust fab'd up to fit the MCX kit.

Keep in mind the turbine will chop the sound up and will change the sound a lot. It may be very quiet when you are done. With the Aerocharger this effect is even bigger because of the vanes that control the turbine flow. Make sure whatever you do you keep the exhaust very open for the turbine to be able the work properly.

thanks for the heads up. If and when the time comes it will be as open and free flowing as I can possibly get it that's for sure.

Brad,
Are you saying after installing one of your turbo kits the RZR will be less noisy than stock? Quite HP sounds good to me does this hold true for most kits?

Thanks Mike

Heres what my Sportsman sounds like with a open exhaust. I made that pipe a couple days ago for a race this weekend. I usually run a muzzy muffler.

Might be shying away from forced induction as I want the LTE dual's sound!!!

Son of a biscuit eater!
:rofl3: Well at least it will sound fast.
meh speed isn't everything. I love the "v-twin" sound. I'll prolly run a stock engine until it chits on me and then swap to a bike engine(superhawk or rc51, maybe a TLS engine or something.)I'm partial to honda cycles though.

IF and I say IF I do "speed" work then I would most likely go with a bigbore kit for the added hp and tq until it blows up....if it does.

I don't know there is so much to do and no enough brains to figure it all out. Good thing I have about a year to figure it out :D

That's cool if you like the sound of the LTE duals that much...but honestly NOTHING will make the parallel twin sound like a V-Twin...it will always sound like crap...take the HP over the sound or buy a machine with a different engine if you want a good sounding exhaust..
The Rotax motors(True V-Twin) Sound great...but guess what..the best sounding ATV engine to date IMHO is the Polaris 850...it is an inline twin..but not a Parallel...and with it's 270* firing order it sounds SWEEET!
Heres a clip of mine with an HMF exhaust...
Maybe one day we'll get this bad boy in the RZR...
