rain gear, usually in WV it gets cool after dark so even in the summer time a extra long sleeve shirt, small shovel , chain saw (a must where I ride) tire repair kit, some hand tools, extra one gal of gas, nylon tow strap so I don't have to wrap my winch cable around a tree , small first aid kit, propane lighter for camp fire if needed, camera, cell phone with back country navigator , last but not least my 9mm.

What they said,

AND a gun... 99% of the time the wife and I both carry. Can't be too careful around those critters when in the woods. (2 and 4 legged). ;)

Oh and a few things not listed:

8x10 blue tarp (new folded tightly)
couple of space blankets
first aid kit (I'm a Paramedic...my kit can be kinda elaborate)
Tools
Duct Tape ... because if you cant duc-it, fu...nevermind.

Lol! Funny how different people think. I'm in the south and if you ask someone if they carry, you are referring to a gun.... to which my answer would be 24/7.

Thanks for the info. Once I get the heat issue under the rear deck area on my Rzr-S taken care of, I will be puting a box in the back for my trail stuff.
As for the gun, I usually carry a .40, but when out west its a .44.

I have the lock and ride box in the back and the drain hole seems to let lots of water in and rusts my tools. Anyone seal their box? If so, what did you use?
