When you say “turns on” do mean engine start?

A volt meter is not a good test of a battery. You need to load test or test specific gravity of each cell.

yes engine turns on then the dash lights go in and out. As well as the dash turns off rapidly

 

I’d check the connections to the dash. Sounds like vibration is wiggling a loose connection. Doubt it’s the key switch but you never know.

 

I took the dash off and pushed the plug in and still does the same. I just ordered a new switch I will update when that comes in!

 

you might look for rubs along the wire harness as well going along with the vibration of a running machine.

 

That will be my next check if the ignition switch doesn’t fix it. I’m not that handy so soldering wires and stuff was last on the list

 

Pull out the dash plug all the way a look for any dirt, corrosion, etc and push it back in. Also could be an internal fault in the dash - too bad you don't have another to swap out and see.

 

Not sure about that model but the Pro XPs have a ground stud close to the battery that will cause a similar issue. Check and see if your model has a ground stud.

 

My 2015 Rzr 1K had these issues. It was the main wiring harness that was rubbed through where it transitions from the engine compartment into the cabin area. The plastic wall there rubbed through the wire and it’s protective tape. $900 wiring harness.
