Tomorrow will be a full week since I picked up the RZR S.

To date I've removed the side seat bars and seat belts. Installed 5 points and removed the stock seatbelt brackets on the cage. I added a support gusset to the whip mount in the back so it doesn't snap off like I've heard about. As with a lot of people, the clamps on the intake boot were not tight, not falling off, but not tight. I've checked fluids and filled the tank. Lastly I made my own dust control for under the hood.

Before we get to ride it (weekend of 10/23) I will also add PA doors and some harness shoulder pads.

I'll check out the shock settings after it gets driven a little.

On my wish list are Steve's springs.

So that will be it for a bit unless I see something cool I just have to have at the Sand Show this weekend. :shhh:

Rory, did you grind the brackets off of your cage? What did you use to touch up the paint?

I dont know how the 2011S is but on my 2010S all I had to do was remove the stock belts(there is 1 point on each side of your lap) and the other 2 points are wrapped around the rear roll bar/cage support...really easy and no fab-work required....

Yes Scotty, I removed the stock upper seatbelt mounts. Didn't have to I just thought they looked like dog doo. I went to Home Depot after some semi gloss Krylon but they don't sell Krylon at the one I went to so I ended up with some Rustolium Satin Black. Matches pretty good. After it dried for a couple of days I rubbed it with a rag and it blended better.

Stock lapbelt mounting points (just need another bolt for the outside mount), wrapped the shoulders around the cage bar behind the seat and wrapped the crotch belt around the square tube the under the front of the seat.

I got the 3" wide belts for comfort and better area. You're right, probably don't need a belt rated so high but I do like the wider feel on my shoulders.

Yeah, I ended up with 2" crows with the padding. I was afraid to go with the DragonFires because I wasn't sure they'd fit with the sternum belt (given my size). After I lose some weight I may change them out. BTW, I go in for my surgery on Monday. I'll be laid up for a while.

Good luck, and remember, it only hurts when you sneeze!
