from the state association site - I know I'm making tomorrow's jaunt to Tigerton WI and 'might' make it down to FDL on Sunday.

======================================================================

I wanted to personally invite you to the WATVA VIP Ride on Friday, September 24th 2010 at the Embarrass River ATV Park. This ride involves state lawmakers and their staff, federal, state and
county / municipalities, agencies, dealers, clubs, trail ambassadors and just about anyone else that wants to join in or that you consider a VIP!

We have demo rides setup for the VIP quests and/or their staff for folks that want to try out the new machines. Last year we had Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki and Honda machines (ATVs and UTVs) available for trail riding fun. Our Trail Patrol Ambassadors and WATVA members bring their own machines for use in the park, leading the rides and sharing conversations with others.

Something new this year, on the following Sunday we are also having an “Appreciation Day” which is more like an organization picnic where we will have ATV and UTV riding, family activities and food, located at a private location called the Fondy ATV Park on the outskirts of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. We’ll have some loaner units available for those unable to bring their own but our goal here is for you to bring your own ATV or UTV and enjoy a relaxed ride, have some fun, share some hot dogs, burgers and the company of other ATV / UTV members and friends. For the family members that want to do more than ride ATVs or UTVs, the Fondy Sports Park has many other amenities, from bumper boats, to go-carts to batting cages and more!

We see this new event and location as a way of saying “thanks” to our many friends and members. Come on out to the Fondy location and BYOAU (Bring Your Own ATV or UTV if you have one)!

Stay cool (and dry) until then.

Hope to see you at one or both of these rides.

Randy
