I was wondering if anybody has found a way to stop water from entering the cab just above the gas pedal? I find this is where the water is coming in the fastest and my right foot is getting soaked lol

Thanks for the help in advance!!!

Its a very common issue. There's a seam where the two pieces of plastic meet and a hole or two there as well. It will drain out but it comes in faster than it drains most times when you're that deep. Someone mentioned in another post putting silicone on all the seams but that might be more trouble than its worth.
What I do is wear cheap shoes.

Is it worth the time? I say yes.

St. Joe was a good test. Dry cab all day for (2) days unlike other rides without it where you need dry shoes and socks all day.

It makes a huge difference.

For the upper large holes, the steering column and brake reservoir, use expanding insulating stuff.

Same problem here put the spray foam under the dash made a big difference. But still get alot of water around the hole for the throttle and brake. Dosent bother me much what a ride with out getting wet or dirty lol. I like the silicone Idea I dont get much around my seams but that would definitely help.

yes Redguy, just keep in mind that dielectric grease needs to be used properly.

Apply AFTER a connection is made for integrity. Not before. It prevents electricity from conducting. Meaning that if you try to connect anything later, harness, terminal, that has that coating on first you may have big trouble because you need the metal to metal good contact.

I thought that was developed for ignition applications where spark was an issue. Not sure though.

On another note - Up under the dash (new XP) I did cover the open harness ends that are exposed to keep them nice for future.
Namely the Power steering and forgot the others. covered w/ a small sample bag and ziptie. Just felt it was an ounce of prevention and worth a few minutes.

Also the one behind the drivers seat. In the photo you see it outside near the wheel. I have relocated it inside near the battery where there is no mud thrown at it. Two zipties to move it to where it might be safer. You never know.

So what to use for the large holes? Black silicone will do the trick on the seam but I'm not sure about the spray insulation. Wouldnt you knock it out when cleaning with a pressure washer? Anyone know where to get some different size rubber grommets you could fit in there and then silicone in?
