I'm thinking about doing some major mods and was wondering if I can get a refund (or partial) on my 5 yr. warranty? Has anybody out there done this before, and if so, what's the process? I know you can do this on regular vehicles, so I assume you can do it with a RZR. Thanks for any input!

Most extended warranties have a time frame by law in which they can be cancelled..I THINK it is 30 days..
Also FYI the Polaris extended warranty(PolariStar) is actually "admisitered" by GE

Polaris ATV, Snowmobiles, RANGER, Victory : Insurance

I love this blurb from the Polaris site..
The Manufacturer’s Original Warranty provides coverage for vehicle repairs for 180 days - just a fraction of the life of your vehicle. The POLARISTAR Protection Plus plan provides coverage, and minimizes your exposure to potential repair costs for up to 5 years.

Hmm...maybe the base warranty should be longer than 180 days(fraction of the life of the vehicle) on a $10,000+++ machine? Heck it isn't like they cover anything that even remotely looks like it was caused by off road riding anyway..:rofl3:

If you have the Polaristar Protection Plus Contract, the cancellation provision is in Section 5(c), bottom of the 2nd page. It specifies what you have to do in order to cancel and get money back, although it's a little ambiguous if you ask me... What state are you in?
