Warranty Poll

It would be nice to find out what % of warranty claims got paid. If you have put in a claim for warranty and were approved or denied post it here. Let's go back to say 2011 model year. Doesn't matter what it was just say something like: two warranty claims one approved one denied or something. We can get an idea of what % are approved. Might be interesting to track that.

Re: Warranty Poll

Back bumper cracked at mounting screw hole, Polaris/dealer replaced immediately.

Drive clutch malfunctioned at 4 hours, dealer fixed next day.

The 2013 LE intake tube cluster@@@@ wasn't warranted by Polaris. I had to fix it myself. They wouldn't re-flash the ECU either, had to buy the Alba fix. That takes it down to 50% if you count these. I did get the new rod in my 2012 though - before it failed - but it took them 4 weeks to order the parts and install them. Ride safe,

Roy

They were assholes when I had issues with my 2009 Sportsman. My 2013 rzr had backfiring issue. It was 9 months old and after looking at pictures a the 400km mileage they made the repair. I would have sue them had they decided not to repair I would have sue because there is 5 year warranty on emissions items they hope consumers dont read manual.

The dealer I purchased my 570 from made me sign a waiver that stated I had to get my first service completed by them or it voids the warranty. I crossed that section out before signing and told them that is an illegal practice according to the FTC and the Magnusson/Moss Warranty Act. As well as Polaris' own warranty says you can service it yourself.

At around 3600 miles, I had my transmission replaced in my 2013 570LE and all costs were completely covered with my Extended Warranty. They said a bolt had worked loose and destroyed the inside of the transmission, so it was replaced free with a new one (about $2800).
So they'd have less reason to deny the claim, I did remove my bigger tires and lift before taking it in to the dealer.
One claim and the Extended Warranty payed for itself and was well worth it to me!
