I have narrowed it down to these two winches and need opinions on which one would be better and why!! I have had a 4500 on my 2 seater and liked it, my biggest worry is the size of the 5000 and the mounting on the rzr4 as some people have commented about the difference in space on a rzr vs. rzrs. I know about the grease fitting placement on the upper a arm, but was wondering about any other mounting problems, also MOTO-ALLIANCE..:)...what is the weight and size difference between the two winches ? ie.. motor diameter and length for mounting on the rzr4, thanks in advance, Chris

Ive got the Viper 4500 max on my RZR 4 and it will pull it out w/out a problem. It sits in the 4 perfect, not even close to the A-arms.

Here's a pic from a couple of weeks ago of me pulling out a Ranger, Im in the rear of it and just did a straight line pull w/no probs. I did have to keep the engine rev'd abit to keep the electical system charging though and it took about 10 mins to pull him out. Notice the Rangers tires, those are 28" Outlaws balled up.

That is awesome! Many people don't realize that one sucked thick stuff in like that is HARD to pull out..
