The Rundown:

front:

New balljoints
Now new bearings(reason for video)

rear:
bearings, a-arm bushings

As you can see in the video(I think) There is a lot of play in the bearing/hub area. You hold the axle and the slop is mostly gone, but the slop isn't in the axle itself but appears to be in the area of where the axle meets the bearing/hub etc...

The bearings are in all the way as the clips are in their respectable slots! The only thing I can think of is that the washers and the nut for the axle are worn out???? They are tight with cotter pins in. We even went to the extent of using a 1/2" breaker bar to see if they needed to go tighter and it didn't matter...


Anyone know what the issue is?

My 2010 "S" has been like that since new. Dealer said it was normal :rm_thumbdown: 1000 miles now it it has not got any worse.

did each side have 2 washers or 1, believe it is suppose to be 2 washers and then the castle nut

x2 and their was a bulletin that added? another washer

It seems that there was a thread on this but I dont remember the fix do a search . The video was a great idea .

Which way are the cone washers?They should be tapered side out,30 ft.lbs.

Yes 2 washers per side and as far as I know the tapered side was out. I'll reconfirm tomorrow after work. Right now I'm going to bed
