Hatfield-McCoy has made some important rule changes regarding side-by-side machines. They are now allowing these machines on all Easiest, More Difficult, and now on select Most Difficult trails! The field crew will be working through the next couple of months to get signage changed on these newly approved black trails.

This has to be a step in the right direction!

Some of the black trails can be pretty nasty for a sxs ,I beenthere and rode the green, blue and black trails, the green and blue are a blast the blacks are more technical but still fun for an atv , I dont think i would take my rzr on any of the black trails
there.

I have ridden all of the black trails and most of red and black trails on my CRF450R. Some of them are very challenging due to the rocks in the middle of the hill climbs. The problem there are some places that if you roll there is a potential to roll a long ways. I think they probably lifted the restriction because they knew they could not stop the SXS from riding them.
