UTV Fan Override switch

I just purchased the UTV fan override switch and harness. My switch is "momentary" and not "maintained". This means that the fan only runs when I have my finger on the switch which you don't want to do when driving. Does anybody know if this is normal. I have sent an email to UTV and not heard back yet.

Definitely not normal. The way it should work is when the switch is off the fan works as it would stock and only comes on when the temp hits 204. With the switch in the on position it will be on constantly unless you turn the switch off which in case it would go back to acting as normal and coming on at temp 204
