Go on down to Marysvale,UT. 2200 miles of roads. It is south west of Moab. They are not rough roads and there are very few 50" only. You can ride in any direction as far as you want right out of the two main campgrounds.
Lizzie & Charlie's or South Forty. All services and fuel are right there. Once you park your truck you won't need it again. You can drive over Mnt. ranges for meals for fun. Lots of animals. I stay away from holiday or event weekends. I don't like lots of people so I tend to stay away from Moab. There are high Mnt. lakes and plenty of streams. We go twice a year for two weeks. This year we are also heading up to Manti, Ut for a week after Marysvale. It is about 1.5 north of Marysvale and in between Marysvale and Moab. Riding is from 5K to 11.5K feet. beautiful Mnt. trees, valleys and meadows.
My group is making our 4th trip to Utah this Sept. We have ridden Moab, Paiute (out of Marysvale), San Rafael Swell (Devils Race Track) and a little of the Arapeen.
This year we are riding out of Panguitch for two days and riding the Paunsaugunt and them moving to Manti and riding the Arapeen for 3-4 days.
We're heading back to Marysvale for our 6th year for two weeks June 1-16th. Then up to Manti for another week after that. Then up to Goblin park area.
We'll head back to Marysvale for 2 weeks from Sept. 14- Oct 1 for the fall.
We stay at Lizzie & Charlies in space 60 or 61 all the time. If you're up there come over to visit or ride.
