To get to the bottom side of the flag mounts, there are a few screws holding on the tail light section. Remove those and very easy to mount the flags.

Some guys tap right into the taillight for the flag, I did a switch from the battery.

 

I don't care for it to be on a switch just because mine are on a remote. But is it okay to tap into the lights

 

you can tap the lights easy if you want it to work with headlights and then use your remote as desired. You can tape the nut into an open end wrench and fish it in there or just flex your wrist , I know its a bitch.

Which wire is hot on the lights with the switch do you know by any chance.

 

Long extension and a 9/16 swivel socket from the bottom.

 

The red wire to the tail light cluster is 12VDC to ground when the key is on. The lighting circuit is on a 10 amp fuse, that includes the headlights.

 

There are (3) wires, brown is ground but you can ground your flag to any frame bolt. The middle red is brake light so dont touch that one. The red with orange stripe is marker / driving light and the one you want to use.

Wire it to a switch. You will want it on while stopped. I learned the hard way back with my old rhino.

 

On mine I used one of my .50 Cal dash switches fed from a constant hot (not keyed) so I can sit on tops of hills at night or wherever with flag on so I can be seen and don't have to have key in the on position or headlights on drawing down my battery.

Uh am i missing something? My taillights are on if the ign is, his whip will be on at all times when the engine is on

 

Yeah they are saying like say u turn off the rzr and just chill out and talk you can leave your whips on without leaving rzr on

 

Take the torx screw's out, remove the plastic covers and it's right there. I did one side all contorted in about 10 min and the other side in 2 min removing the screw's. I ran half a dozen power wires from my dash to the back for lights and future additions.

 

I finally got them on yesterday but I still need to run the wire..but when is started taking that rear plastic off the bracket comes off with it the little metal one that the whips screw goes thew was I doing something wrong
