I don't know if this has been talked about yet or not. We replaced a front diff for a customer in an 09 and put in the 2010 updated front diff. He already had a Holtz cage in it. In order to do this, it needs some machine work done. You have to mill small pockets in it so that it now lines up wth the armature plate as it is now different. As you can see, the updated cage is now cast aluminum. It is better than the plastic one, but still nothing like a billet cage others make. If anyone needs help with the machining, we can do it for you. Maybe Holtz is doing this now in the new cages so it fits any year models? I am not sure, I haven't ask Mark this yet.
