No takers? I did notice the 2016 gauge has 16 pins as well. the harness only has 8. Part of me says it will work. The other part of me does not wanting it shorting out the system.

 

I'd check the pinouts in the service manual to determine what would, and wouldn't work.. Lacking 8 pins is an issue, I'd make damn sure the pinouts are the same before plugging anything in.. You can locate this information in the service manual I believe..

Thanks for the manual link. Comparing the pins , there is one difference (the constant and switched power are flipped) and I really don’t feel like flip flopping them
