I replaced my secondary clutch a few months ago. Can the used one be rebuilt or do I just dump or recycle it?

I would think if the sheaves (as those are the expensive bits as I understand it) aren't scored dramatically (that a scrub with a scotchbrite pad can't take out), and have no cracks or nicks , its absolutely rebuildable.

6000 miles on it. A polaris mechanic looked at it and said it was time to replace. Did not ask him if the old one was good for anything.

with 6000 miles, It's only purpose is an emergency spare, not worth rebuilding at all. It had a good life.

Swap those square pucks out for round rollers in your new one!
