wow i just removed my UNI for the stock airbox and i found some sand in my intake. before you ask i did oil the inner and work it in twice before i put the outer wrap on and the outerware over that. this was one hard weekend in the glamis dunes riding behind some sand cars and two wheelers. so yes i was in the roost a couple of times. but that no excuse for this poor filtration.
i have run my stock filter and outerware for wo trips to the dunes and never had a spec of dirt in the intake. looks like i am going back to stock untill UMP sells their airbox. here are some pics of my horror.
