Saw that Polaris has an under hood storage accessory. Has anyone installed this? What do you think? and how much room does it have?

I bought and installed one last Friday from a local dealer. Right at $35. Fits my 2016 trail nicely. Should be a standard item like on the 800 models. Holds spare belt and there's room for other stuff. Polaris' website description and pic does not do this justice.
I'll post pics asap.

That looks cool. As long as whatever you put in doesn't mind getting wet your fine.

There is an under-hood air compressor setup that I think is a neat idea and would free up space in the bed storage box if you are carrying a portable compressor and hose. a little expensive though.

These folks were at Rally in the Pines a few weeks ago and they did a good job of showing-off their products. It was a sanitary install and an impressive product. Having said that, I didn't throw cash at it and walk away with one. Maybe later, maybe not.

ETA: The vendor at the rally was utvgrabbag.com. I don't know if the guy I talked to was a factory rep or not...but he was well informed.

I carry my bag full of tools in that box on my 15 900 S. It holds plenty and it will take the weight and abuse bouncing around really hard. As stated it is not waterproof so make sure whatever you have there you at least take it out every once in a while and dry it out or put it in some kind of waterproof bag. Damn good money spent. I highly suggest it to anyone.

I drilled out the holes wider then the screws so i can take the tray out and wash under it with ease. I have 20lbs of tools in a drybag sitting on a doubled up tool drawer liner and it works and fits great. Used all the space available on the tray lol. Can take a couple tries to get the hood on but i just roll the top of the drybag with my hand to flaten it out more. Love that i can have more weight up front cause it was getting heavy in the rear.

I put my tire repair kit and air hose +small first aid kit it doesn't hold a bunch but nice to have easy access for my tire stuff and not digging thru the tool box
