turbo question ?

does a turbo setup work ok in the woods ! has any one even tryed ???
will i be the first ! if an ex-sast cost a thousand dollars and a turbo 2500
one gives 3-9 hp the other 40 hp let me SEE THAT IS 1-2 hunderd dollar a hp for the pipes and stuff and 65 dollars a hp for the trubo-----
WHAT ABOUT WATER AND MUD !! I SEE A VACUME POPOFF VALVE !

I don't forge deep rivers, but I run mine on the wooded trails. It works just fine. With the turbo, the power is there when you want it.

But I wouldn't go with a turbo kit that costs $2,500... the quality kits are in the $4,000 and up range. You get what you pay for and in my opinion, they are worth the extra cash.

i've wondered the same thing. to some, woods riding is still balls to the wall as fast as you can go down a clear trail kind of deal. i've never really heard mention of anyone riding the average 8mph, lots of steep descents, river crossings, muddy and rocky trails. I've checked out a lot of turbo installs too and i haven't seen a single one where i can retain my snorkels, stock exhaust, and lock n ride cargo box as well. i'm not willing to give any of those up. they are more valuable to me than an EXTREMELY MARKED UP turbo.
