Man ...I've been reading a lot of nasty trash talk from people from another forum , who are also on this forum ,people who I thought were friends...they talk about how great and durable their new Machines are going to be, I also hope they will be ..for the good and progress of our sport, but most of them have not even seen one yet let alone drove one ..oh well I guess you have to be used to forum BS :rm_thumbdown:

Most of them will be back after they discover the grass is not always greener on the other side. We owned a 2009 Yamaha Grizzly and IMO, it was the WORST quad we ever owned and we have owned all brands but a Kawasaki. When they come back they will have to eat crow and we can remind them constantly how great their Yammi was. :)

I have been on a few forum's for other interests and I have to say this is the best. Like anything else on the internet you have to be able to know between the good info and the BS . I have a 2009 800s and have never driven any other machine and I love it. It sucks my money from my wallet , it decides when to act up , but it is so much fun I can live with it.
Its like the Chevy vs Ford thing. Mustang vs Camero , you can have you die hard favorite but true car nuts love cars , no matter what name is on the hood. Thats how I feel about UTV's . 1000 xp , 570 Ranger , Polaris , Can Am , Cub Cadet , what difference does it make , they are all cool and I love em.

Some one talking s--t on the internet. I am truly shocked. Like the tv commercial says you cant lie on the internet. Hey I have seen members call each other out on this forum. I mean a challenge, fly to my airport and we will settle this man to man??? It is easy to sit behind a desk and write mean hurtful and just plain rude stuff when you do not have to look the person in their face. Why???:nono: :spank1:

I had a 2000 Polaris sportsman 500
I had a 93 Polaris 250 scrambler 4x4
bought them both heavily used and rebuilt them
After that I SWORE I would NEVER own another Polaris if it was not a snow machine.
Sportsman 500 had 4 wheel bearings per side and liquid filled Hilliard hubs. Scrambler used 3 chains to make the front 4x4 work..Wow just wow. But I was broke and wanted an ATV so Polaris was all I could afford.
Compared to Honda, Suzuki, Yami and Kawi those things were over engineered piles of metal.

Then came 2008 and the Rzr.
Polaris totally redeemed themselves and have WON OUR HEARTS!!
Now I have an Ace, a Xp1k, Xp1k4 and two Polaris two stroke sleds.
There will probably never be a time that we do not have a Polaris in our shop
Oh and I own Polaris stock, as much of it as I could buy! (PII)

NO WAY ONE MODEL CAN COMPETE, Polaris is too far ahead. I mean the XYZ and wildcat are the only machines that even come close to a rzr. And we have SOOOO MANY models to chose from.

Polaris sleds are light years ahead of the competition, seriously light years.

Let them have their day in the sun, brand loyalty is something you do when you are young and dumb, to swear yours is the best and always will be is naive

I'm a Ford fan and a Polaris fan for life now, but that does not mean I don't respect a Dodge or Yamaha now and then

You can get a bad Toyota and you can get a great Kia, alot of it just has to do with your mindset.

trash talkers will still be talking when we all should just be riding, good luck competing with Polaris now...570, turbo, 1000, 2 seat, 4 seat, fox, highlifter, the list just keeps growing and growing. Polaris is the SHIT and they know it so EAT CROW!!! LOL

People are weird with brand loyalty. It's like it is a personal reflection on them if they aren't constantly reassured that they made the best choice or something, or the flip side is they spend way too much time criticizing someone else's choice. To each his own, but I could care less what other people ride. I chose the RZR on its own merits, and if the Yami ends up being better, so be it. Doesn't make me any less happy with my purchase. In fact a buddy just bought a Can-Am yesterday. Not sure why, but I don't care, doesn't impact me at all (unless he breaks down when we are riding together. Hehe). I am just happy there are more and more people joining the sport and pushing for more places for us all to ride.

Well put and I agree. It's pretty easy to tell the brand loyalist from those who really have a legitimate gripe or praise. To the OP of this thread though........if you don't like the trash talking, then just don't read it! You know if you open the "yamaha back in the game" thread you're pretty much getting brand loyalists on both sides who don't care about reality but rather padding their own ego with their choice of sxs and being scared that someone won't be impressed with them anymore if their machine isn't the perceived "best". So if you don't like that, then just stay away from that thread. If you started your own, "my polaris is so awesome because........." thread, then you could just read that and only see positive things about your machine. Obviously I'm being somewhat sarcastic but remember, this is a free public forum. You're going to see all kinds of opinions and behavior, good, bad and indifferent.

That exactly what going on, why to take this even seriously, it is internet where most of the bored people are killing the time instead watching TV...LOL

Smacktalking other brands is imature and childish. We all share the same passion for our sport . That type of bs is why we are such easy targets for all the green groups trying to close our lands . Until we become a truly United force no one will take us seriously. JMHO

I like wheat toast slightly browned, eggs over easy, bacon soft.

If you cook for me and my toast is almost black, the yolk of my eggs are not runny and my bacon is crisp. I am going to be pissed.

Which restaurant is going to cook for me today.

I almost forgot.........Put some dam butter on my toast while its hot.
