trailering, strapping down questions

We have a standard RZR and we just picked up a 6x12 enclosed trailer with 79" interior height and rear ramp door. I back the rzr (to get as much weight in front of the trailer axle as possible) in until the front just allows the door to close. Currently we dont have any bumpers but would like to get some, I dont want one that sticks out very far so we have more storage room at the front of the trailer. How are you guys with enclosed trailers strapping down your rzr's? I thought about getting the etrack stuff and straps that go over the tires. Are you strapping just the rear or all 4? We plan to use the stock wheels and tires on narrow trails and used the wide offset aluminum ones with bighorns on all the other trails storing the set not in use in the trailer also.

Thanks for the replies.

E track, floor mounted is the only way to go. I strap to the belly of frame, letting the suspension still flex, u would b surprised at how ez a rzr will snap a ratchet strap n a trailer if u anchor to high a compress suspension. If u can the best way is all four corners an cross ur straps it won't move side to side n the trailer

Bigest problem with installing Etrack and using those tire straps.. If your width changes the track is in the wrong place.. If your just going to strap it from the frame Then D rings in the floor will be just as good. Just place the Drings out a little bit. As in don't put them right under where your strapping. Place them so when you rachet them down it pulls the RZR like its streching it. So the straps will pull out and down on it. On my flat bed I just hook a chain on the hitch and use a single large rachet to pull the RZR foward and down.. This pulls the chain tight. Put your RZR in N when you do this ofcourse. I plan on doing the same thing with my enclosed trailer I just haven't installed the D Rings yet..
I myself like the idea of strapping it down by the wheels so the suspension isn't compressed at all. I'm just a little worried about placing my tiedowns where the wheels go just for me to get Midtravel or something down the road that moves my wheels..

That shouldn't be a problem. Just set the Etrac to catch the outside of the stock tires and the inside of the aftermarket tires. Worst case you can use the net style straps instead of the flat ones and it won't matter on width.

Here's what I did. I put etrack down at the base of the walls to create a square on the floor.I use 4 straps, 2 frt and 2back am I cross the straps. The left strap I hooked the right side an right strap hooked to left side.
That setup worked when the rzr was 50",it worked when it was 56" and it still works now thatim 62" track width.
Just my thoughts

Why don't you just use two 'tire-traps' one on the driver front, one on the driver rear....doesn't matter then which size of tire you use, your wheel base stays the same.
