I bought my first sxs a year ago I only got to use it for 2 weeks when the motor went bad I ordered a motor and the dealership here told me that the torque limit get is messed up and a discontinued part my rzr is a 2012 900xp it’s been at the shop for 9 months now and I just can’t seem to find a way around this part does anyone have a rzr they’re parting out 2011-2012? Or know someone that can make the part? Don’t know what to do at this point anymore

Yikes! I just saw that. I'm wondering if there was another problem that caused them to fail. The 2011-2012 900's have a known starter drive problem due to wear in the case. The only way to fix it is a new case.

Search the forum here for that topic. Lots of threads about that problem. It was only on the dry sump engines, 2013+ had the wet sump motor like the Ranger 900xp.

If you bought a new motor the gear should be fine??
Also did you check with Polaris yourself? Lots of dealerahips out there that I wouldn't trust to even change my oil.

Was you ever able to find the torque limit gear? If not did you come up with something that worked?
