Some guys weld washers on over the torn tabs

 

time to pull out the mig i have washers welded on to make em stronger they never broke but i dident give em the chance

 

Pics. Any suggestions. Does anyone make these brackets or do I have to?

 

they might be in a weld on frame brace kit???

 

The weld on washers are not included in the kits... There $25.00 extra... I just installed the kit including washers...

 

washer or make you a new plate i would do the washer and put longer bolts in it

 

x2..dont sweat it...it can be fixed pretty easy...I bought some spare axels w/cv's and a-arms, i dont have em yet..suppose to get em in tn next week..let me know if you want one..

I have used these in the past on different projects. You just have to measure to make sure you get what you want. Plus, they are MUCH THICKER. Which will help a lot with wear.

The LSR gusset kit comes with the washers and some gussets.I got mine from UTV Crap

 

yes i too would like to know how it got broken...i didnt see a tree or anything near it.

I was at camp when it happend, but it looked like they came off the dune and landed in a big hole on the left side. I had already stressed the front end some from my crash the night before, but it was driving fine before they landed in that hole.

That will be the last time someone drives my machine when I'm not in it:scared2:

 

Sorry man but isn't this how it seems to go. Either by dump luck, or they don't care cause it's not theirs. Is the rest of the frame straight?

The rest of the frame is fine. It bent the front A-arms a little, bent the passenger side A-arm mounting bolt(mounting tabs are fine), and sheared the bolt and ripped the mounts on the drivers side.

I now have new A-arms, A-arm bolts, tie rods, bushings, gusset kit, frame reinforcement kit, A-pillars w/braces, and a new cage on the way.

Did you ever get this fixed? What was your final solution?
