I've heard a couple new XP owners say the stock tires suck. A bunch of you guys have had a chance to test them out now...what do you think? Please provide your thoughts in the Sand, hardpack (dirt), gravel/rocky terrain.

Thanks

I thought the XP performed really well in the sand but it has so much power that you probably could of had any tire on there. haha
I did gash the sidewall on a front tire at the end of the day and had to drive about 8 miles on a flat. The sidewalls are super thin. I went and bought Bighorns today but didn't get a chance to go out.

I've done a lot of reading trying to decide between Bighorns and 2.0s. There doesn't seem to be a consensus. Most will say the originals are stronger (especially in the sidewalls) and therefore are the way to go. But then most everyone who has tried the 2.0s has nothing but good things to say about them as well. My 2 cents...if you ride isolated areas and need the extra piece of mind get the originals. If you don't tend to ride terrain that chews your tires, and you have the extra money (2.0s cost a bit more), get the 2.0s. HTH.
