2013 Xp 4 900. Tires are 27x9-12and 27x11-12. I want to increase size to 29”. Any suggestions on what to do? I’ll even buy used rims and tires. I have 1800 miles on it and was told by the dealer that at 2000 to put an entire new clutch on it. Is that true? Do I need to reclutch with bigger tires? I ride 6000-12000 elevation. Thanks
If your main riding is on tight trails in low then you simply drive on a road at higher speeds to the next trail I would say no kit needed, the kit comes into play when you are a on and off the throttle person and lost power due to tires.
I have a 2013 900xc and put 30 inch terrabites on with Hunterworks rollers and belt. Do mostly trails/desert I would say 75 percent low range, then the rest desert getting there in High. just got back from Moon Rocks in Nevada and no problems with clutching.
