I have the same question, but I can share some info. I recently put on a 3" lift and gained a little over 3 with the shocks turned up all the way. I went from 50" wide to 48 in front and 49 in the rear. It is shocking how high it seems with 3" of lift. I have the stock 25" tires and they look tiny. I quickly realized I need spacers. It wasn't tippy just running around the yard, but it seems so high and narrow i would be uncomfortable on the off camber riding I do.

This weekend I'm adding 2" spacers all around and i think you will quickly see you need to as well. Some have recommended 1" to get you back to 50 but i don't think its enough. You are going to be 3" higher at the same width. Common sense tells me, the taller i go, the wider I want to be. I chose 2" for that reason.

As for tires, I'm in the same boat. I've wanted to upgrade to big horns and 26" will definetly look better than the 25"

I ran a racertech lift I think 2" maybe 3". with 14" crusher rims on 26" big horns. I has 56" wide then I put 2" wheel spacers and progressive springs from makin trax. I was 59 inches wide in the rear and had over 11" of clearance with zero preload on the springs. It was a nice set up before I bought ZBROZ 4.5" LT kit and X1 shocks, running the same tires I'm now 61.5" wide in rear with 13" of clearance.

I ran a RacerTech 2inch lift as well with stock shocks and replaced the springs with linear Afco's from Makin Trax. I also have 26 inch big horns with Sixr 14 inch rims with an offset (I believe its 1.5 inches). I have the shocks set at about mid way preload. With that set up I am at 12.5 inches clearance in the front and 13 inches in the rear. That puts me at 56 inches wide.

If you were looking for another tire after all the great reviews of the growlers I would say those would be a good choice. Depends on what you want the tire for though.

You can easily fit 28 or 29s using the RacerTech lift.. I would recommend spacers of 1.5" per side, the lift claims 2" but can be between 1.5 to 3.3" depending on how you set up your shocks... The RacerTech lift is a far superior design to any others on the market and provide a gusset style plate incorporated into the lift I the ran and I personally have had 3 of the top lift kits and the front lift on the RacerTech is the strongest by far again.. You do drill 4 holes through the rear of the frame (3/8) easy, just easy, and there is one optional one up front in the center behind the radiator, you don't need to but again this kit strengthens the fram a lot for the extra abuse and strain put on the car from the lift... JMHO, if you want to see a detailed thread about the RacerTech and how it compares to the others just click the Forum link, then go down to projects and you'll see mine that's titled "say goodbye to my "old" RZR, cinstruction has begun" that's got sone great lift info...oh, and I'm running 27s...look at my garage and thread and see if you really want to go bigger.. You will need to reclutch as well and once you start going 27" and bigger even reclutched, without turbos big bores ect... You can say goodbye to running at 60+ MPH.. You might get 55mph if you dial in good on a stock engine.. Hope this helps

UPDATE: I didn't catch that you also had no LT KIT... I don't recommend exceeding 27" wheels and that's with the lift and 1.5" spacers.. I know, I ran that exact setup prior to my LT install!!

I have found that you should go out for every inch you go up! You will minimize the effect on the center of gravity, although changed a little, it will still go up! Depending on what kind of riding you do the best size tire will give you the most flotation for its size! I like 12" inch tires as the give you more side wall and better cross-section and flotation! I run Big Horns that are 27"X12"x12" all the way around with a three inch lift! I am 62" wide and do go slow through the gates;) :scared2:

X2, I can go along with that saying.. For every inch up go an inch out.. That equates well, Before I started the whole "Stars & Stripes" RZR, I was running the stock wheels on an 08 50" RZR, to run my 27" executioners at 12x12x27 rear and 12x10x27 front.. I added a My first 2" Lift and 1.5" spacer on each side. That was the max.(i was driving fine and not "tipping"). Now before i didnt do the clutching so you should know that I had racked my brain and couldn't figure out why but the 27s literally took 15mph off my top speed and this was confirmed by several others who did the same thing and lost that same 15mph.. Those executioners are some monster heavy tires to turn!!! I have the new clutch for it but I'm not installing it until I get the rest of my build torn back down to where I can do that... Even with proper clutching, again even other members have confirmed this, without the extra power you are looking at a top speed of around 55mph....
Again I hope this helps you on your decision...

Maybe ill just stick with the 26s and a two inch lift and some spacers and see how that works for a while I really didn't need big mud slingers more than anything I just needed a little more ground clearance I bottom out on some trails what 2" lift would u recommend
