Cam timing was off, replaced tensioner, reset cams, still jumps. WAS supposed to have a rebuilt engine.
Tensoner shoe does not seem to be bottomed out.,
Cannot find a chain kit with chain and TWO gears.
Any input or ideas? Thanks

Maybe try the new turbo chain guide? I have one on mine just because it look so much nicer. It looks to hold the chain much better.

were you able to change the timing chain without removing the motor? Or did the dealer do it? What was the cost?

Yes the chains do stretch. When I rebuilt my 900 the stretch was almost half a link. The CAM chain handles this because it has a tensioner, but the oil pump chain has NO tensioner. So if you rebuild you should ALWAYS replace both chains. My oil pump chain was stretched so much that the chain was hitting the case. It caused a groove in the case. Luckily I caught it before it broke. Would have destroyed engine.
