The back side of the lower bolt needs an open or box end wrench wriggled in from the bottom. I had to remove my skid plate to access the area. It is a great product and probably the strongest one on the market. It will go on eventually.

 

I was wondering that snoball maybe it would be easier to just take the skid plate off.

 

tip:
use a combination wrench. The closed end holds the nut and fish in from the side.
Combo wrenches have a 15° angle on the closed end and it works just about right.
sometimes a piece of tape helps hold it.

on my new frame i tack welded all (4) nuts.

 

I tell ya what either way that is one tight little spot. I hate to have to take that stuff off again to replace things. next time I might just drop the skid plate.
