I bet he has leather sneakers, buys plastic products and eats meat. He needs to go hug another tree and say sorry to it for having a wood framed house.

For an example of just what these anti-access groups can do (namely the CBD; a.k.a the rabid dogs of the Sierra Club), take a look at my map of the ISDRA (Glamis).

All the red areas were "Temporarily Closed" since 2001. The brown area was closed in '78 for "enviromental protection". It's now 2008 and there is no end in sight for the "Temp Closures".

I could only want 3 min before I knew this is just a one sided view of what we all do and enjoy must be wrong. Better sell my truck and toys and ride a horse to be nice to the trails and riding areas. How else do people get around in the woods to say put up fencing carry each post one buy one 1000 times, no they load it up on a truck on atv with a small trailer. Besides everywhere i've been i dont see the evironment going to shit. except from damn high school partiers(but im working on the clean up).

Oh yeah besides watching that bullshit clip has anyone actually looked at the site itself just more bullshit on how we are distroying the enviroment and land even snowmobiles. Also uses smokeing bans in pubs as examples as well as slavery. Man this person(s) is nuts.
Sorry just had to say something else again.

In regards to the DNS records held by you for stopthrillcraft.org. The content of the site violates your policy "5. NO UNLAWFUL CONDUCT OR IMPROPER USE." The site under the category of "...activities designed to defame, embarrass, harm, abuse, threaten, slander or harass third parties...", states claims and statistics with no data proof of these claims, hence slandering the Off Highway Vehicle "thrillcraft" community. They state many times on the website, airpolution, destruction of habitat and other unsupported facts, being stated as facts. As defined by Webster's Dictionary;

Slander:
1 : the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another's reputation
2 : a false and defamatory oral statement about a person

Under those definitions, this site uses slander in it's campain against the OHV community, by stating statistics and comments that are not backed up with data. Please take actions as stated in your terms of use. Thank you.

what really gets me is what is on the homepage..."This web site outlines the major problems with thrillcraft use of our public lands. We hope it will be a reference point that activists will return to periodically to find the latest information about thrillcraft impacts, successful strategies used to limit thrillcraft destruction, as well as inspiration to carry on the effort to control and limit these machines and the culture that spawns this use.

Thrillcraft use has risen dramatically since the 1960s. A Forest Service report estimates that 42 million ORV users between 2003 and 2004. Since that time, the number of users has increased to the point where former Chief of the Forest Service Dale Bosworth called Thrillcraft one of the four major threats to national forest lands. Worse yet, machines are increasing in power and mechanical ability enabling them to reach ever more remote lands.

Thrillcraft users are turning our national pride in a national tragedy.
Thrillcraft threaten our national heritage. It is time to take back our lands!"
Ive seen the work of these so-called activists. Out in lucerne valley we've found ,on 3 ocasions, rebar spikes sitting in the dirt waiting to get someone's tire or worse, throw someone from there bike or quad. It basically looked like a christmas tree holder except it was all made from rebar and the center spike was welded to the base ground down into a crude point. Now i know that it is not a christmas tree holder because the kind of force needed to get the trunk of the tree on that crude spike would have to be immense.... well my 2 cents anyway, sorry for rambling on...

Can't we just shoot um? How many designated trails do these tree huggers facking need? We as OHV riders have very little land left to use. Lots of family's like mine reasonably enjoy OHV used land. That gay arse mather trucker got one thing right it takes a whole lota money to support these damn toys! As to the rest well it was hard to understand him with that cockhesh in his mouth! lmao

Everyone needs to join the Blue Ribbon Coailition to help keep the lands open. There are enough protected lands already. I have been on many of them and not seen a single person there. Yes orv's should be banned from some areas but to ban them altogether is just plain ignorant. There is anough land for everyone. Can't we just all get along LOL!

It's really irritating that this organization has generalized ORV users into a "culture".....ie those idiots with the spray painted truck and blow up doll. These people think that truck and those guys in it typify everyone who enjoys riding off road. Talk about being narrow minded. Most of the people I ride with were outdoorsmen and women before they started riding. They respect the environment and the rules when they ride because they don't want anyone to get hurt, to insure that they can continue to ride in those areas and so their kids can get out and enjoy riding in the future.

Long list of photo credits at the end...I wonder if those photographers knew their pictures were going to be used to ban the activities that they earn a living off of? I guess they can all go take pictures of rare lizards now. That'll sure pay the bills...

Also notice all photos of our "destructive" activities are distant shots or show riders with helmets on or looking away from the camera. Pictures of folks engaged in eco-friendly activites show closeups of smiling happy faces. There are SO many subtle ways to bias a presentation. The media does it every day. When was the last time you saw a picture of Bush in the paper where he didn't have an idiotic expression on his face?

I'm a Thrillcraft JUNKIE!!! I'm NOT a vandal. I care about OUR environment. I want to teach my two sons to be the same. That said, that web site scares the hell out of me! Those people are well educated, well funded, highly motivated & think they are in the right. That's a VERY VERY dangerous combination in today's political climate. We are spending our $ on our toys while they are spending their $ on our politicians, who are our politicians going to listen to? I was introduced to trail riding in the mountains where I go w/ my sons by my father, I want my sons to to do the same w/ their kids. Just because it's legal today doesn't mean it will be legal tomorrow. I don't know what to do about these fanatics, but I do know we need to demand that we "Thrillcraft" enthusiasts are aware of & are respectful of the people, places & things around us when we get our thrills. Think these people can't turn you into an outlaw? Try smoking a cigarette in a PRIVATELY OWNED restaurant today.:cussing:
