The OTB Powersports Story
The year was 2005 and I had purchased a brand new 2004.5 Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI. A year later while riding the Check Engine light came on. This machine had 850 easy miles on it. I learned how to check the codes and low and behold I had a code 41 and 46. This led me to the temp/baro sensor on the engine. I did the common things, cleaned and re-installed the sensor and all seemed well and then 2 rides later the light came on again. I dug deeper and found the wires going to the sensor were broken inside the insulation. I am an automotive electronics engineer by trade and I wanted to build a rock solid vibration proof wiring harness that was never going to break again. I did a little research and found that I was not alone with this broken wiring problem so I decided to offer this harness for sale. From here I had people purchasing this harness and requesting other harnesses that were also breaking on Polaris machines. Each of our wiring repair harnesses we offer for sale was spawned from a customers needs. Fast forward to 2018. We have a full line of wiring repair harnesses and diagnostic tools built in our facility in the USA. We are the place to go to when you have a Check Engine light on a Polaris ATV or UTV. Give us a call or send us an email and we will gladly help you get your Check Engine light turned off without having to go to the dealer.
