The Dreaded "Can't Remove My Secondary" BSOD

I'm at a complete loss. Secondary is supposed to pull right off. I have 165 miles on my RZR bought in June, always kept inside. Opened the clutch, no evidence of any water or dirt in there. The general consensus is "rust" but I have a hard time believing that.

Trying to install my SLP '16 Clutch kit, which I can easily do on the primary, but secondary won't come off. Having read everything I can on those who've had similar problems on the forum, I've tried every step I can think of.

-Drowned it in WD40/PB Blaster and let it soak overnight. Nope.
-Use Rubber Mallet/Hammer, tapped in center, and 3:00, 6:00, 9:00, 12 locations, rotated several times and repeated about 20 times. Nope.
-Put screw back in, hit with mallet, removed, nope.
-Gently pry from the back. Nope.

I can't find any kind of secondary clutch removal tool for this, as it's supposed to just pop right off.

Realize this is futile, but anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks for the helpful advice. The sliders really aren't budging either. I planned on replacing the square pucks with Hunterwork's Round ones anyway. I'll keep trying here, I think you're on to something. It doesn't feel like the plates are spreading - wasn't sure if they were supposed to or not.

Will running it while it's up on blocks and changing gears help you think?

maybe try to re assemble and drive it around for a few mins, come back, take the cover off and let it cool just a little until you can work on it, maybe some belt wear got caked up somewhere and is creating somewhat of a seal, the secondary didnt just slide off for me when i did my SLP but i didnt have to do too much

Good thoughts. The sheaves aren't separating, it was difficult to get the belt off, now I know why. It was even harder to get back on if you can imagine. As far as belt wear it has 165 original miles with the same stock belt. There's no wear there. However I did notice some of the black gasket goo from the air intake right above the secondary was hanging very low, right over the belt, maybe a few mm to spare. Perhaps the belt rubbed some of it off and it got lodged down on the input shaft.

I've tried really pulling on it, but you're right I haven't tried putting the tire back on and putting it back on the ground to try and remove it - perhaps the weight of the vehicle does effect the sheaves for some reason.

I just don't want to end up like this guy:

The Slide Hammer did it. Got a video of it too, interesting. So it wasn't the black foam gasket from up above, but the orange colored gasket inside both of the sheaves. one of them was worn down a bit and orange flakes were everywhere inside the helix *shrug*. Psheadl I owe you one! Thanks.

I made a video of the whole ordeal, incase anyone's looking at this in the future on how to remove a stuck secondary:
